Our Knitwear Factories
Made in England | Made in India
Paul James Knitwear and its sister company Jack Masters own and operate two factories, one based in the heart of the British textile industry in Leicester, England, and one in the family’s home town of Navsari in India.
Our Growth
The group's first factory was established in 1987, and due to the efforts and loyalty of the company’s staff and clients, the founders were able to build a new factory in India which has specialised in lightweight pure cotton, 100% cashmere and extra fine merino wool knitwear, whilst the UK factory has focused on developing its premium and luxury 100% wool range and cashmere blends.
In 2005 Jack Masters acquired Paul James Knitwear after seeing the gap in the market for British luxury attire. Paul James' archive and knitting machinery was relocated from Barwell to Aylestone in Leicestershire, England.
Our Teams
The group employ fifty people in the UK and ninety five in India. Both factories have in-house design and sampling teams, and utilise both state-of-the-art and traditional manufacturing techniques.
